Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the son of Chiragh Bibi, was born in 1835 in Qadian, India. He went on to become a prominent religious leader and the founder of the Ahmadiyya movement in Islam. Ahmad claimed to be the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, and his teachings have been followed by millions of people around the world.
