Anthony Edwards Makes NBA History with 40-Point Performance

On January 25, 2022, in a 109-107 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, Edwards became the first player in NBA history to record a stat line of at least 40 points.
The 20-year-old guard put up a dominant performance, shooting 14-of-24 from the field and 7-of-10 from three-point range. He also added 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals to his stat line.
