AMC's Upcoming Spin-Off Series Prepares for Premiere
Stars, Directors, and More Announced
AMC has announced the cast and crew for "Dead City," an upcoming spin-off series of the popular post-apocalyptic horror drama "The Walking Dead." The series will star Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan and Lauren Cohan as Maggie, who will travel into New York City to encounter native New Yorkers.
Other cast members include Gaius Charles, Zeljko Ivanek, and Maggie Grace. Eli Jorné serves as the series creator, with David Zabel and Mario Michalis assuming roles as showrunners. Michael Satrazemis, Lauren Cohan, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are also on board as executive producers.
The series is scheduled to premiere in June 2023 and will consist of six episodes. Details about the plot and specific character roles are still under wraps, but fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Morgan and Cohan in their iconic roles.
