ITV Coronation Street viewers will see a very different side to Paul Foreman when he returns to the cobbles later this year. The character, played by Peter Ash, will be back to torment his brother David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) and will be sporting a new look that will make him almost unrecognisable.

In a new interview, Ash has revealed that Paul will be "a lot more evil" when he returns. "He's been through a lot since he left Weatherfield and he's not the same man he was before," he said. "He's a lot more dangerous and he's not afraid to use violence to get what he wants."

Ash also teased that Paul's new look will be "quite a shock" for viewers. "He's got a new haircut, he's lost a lot of weight and he's got a new tattoo on his face," he said. "He looks like a completely different person."

Paul left Coronation Street in 2018 after being exposed as the one who attacked David. He fled Weatherfield and has been on the run ever since. However, it seems like he is now ready to face his demons and return to the cobbles to wreak havoc on David's life.

Viewers can expect to see Paul back on Coronation Street later this year. It is not yet known how long he will be staying, but it is sure to be an explosive return.
